Oh, Ginger snap!

"Monday, Monday"

Oh what a monday. So how was our weekend internet world? Mine was actually pretty fantastic! Saturday we had a meeting for the Mission trip to Waco during spring break. First of all I am extremely stressed about this whole trip. Sharing my "story," talking to people on the street, raising $685 just to get there. Its all rather overwhelming, but very exciting!

So after all the excitement I came home and gave myself a much needed facial! My skin was so smooth and wonderful! I've always wanted a professional facial, but honestly I think I would

freak out on the lady trying to poke my face with God knows what kind of concoctions. I might have a boisnberry allergy that I'm not aware of and you're about to spread it all over my face!! No thank you ma'am. Ok, so maybe I don't want a legit facial, my homemade ones will work for now.

Sunday was also a treat! A relaxing afternoon followed by some serious Jesus time, and a lovely night with some lovely ladies. Oh, and Madea dropped by for a visit. I can't get enough of that Madea goodness, she's hilarious!! I made some chicken marsala for everyone, and...I must say, I out did myself. Restaurant quality as Dad says. Delish! Of course going to bed at 2am is never a good idea when you have a monday 8am. That was dumb. Mondays are awful, I recently had a conversation with Ryan about giving all the days of the week epic names. Sunday Funday, Ultimate Tuesday, Friday Fry Day, and something awful for Monday. I'm working on it.

You know those moments when you have a random French Pop song stuck in your head and you just can't but help grab a baguette and do the can can? Hm, guess not.

In high school my friends had a code name for this certain guy that they all liked. He was cute, charming, popular, witty, smart, he was Pete Klesco. I never saw what they did, but I think I finally found my Pete Klesco (who, ps, must always be referred to with both first and last name). To clarify, I've jumped back nearly 6 yrs to a time of mindless giggles, horrible blushing, incoherent babbling, and whispers behind his back. It's rather pathetic. He doesn't know, so I'm safe, for now. But how my sisters kept this up for nearly 3 yrs I will never know. Talk about exhausting! I'm nearly positive he doesn't even notice my existence, but on the chance occasion he does notice I turn out to be of little interest to him. I'll keep you posted on this most tragic subject. Maybe.

Yours truly,
LB

Ps. Thank you Lauren for the lovely sound track you provided me during my blog write time, it was quite an adventure
